The first photobook project to present Bae Joohyun, after nearly 10 years of activities as Irene. IRENE has been presented to the public through various works and performances within countless concepts. 〈1 Page of IRENE〉 carries the meaning of the first page of her that had not been shown before. From moments in comfortable clothes, curious encounters during unfamiliar travels, to her experience of overcoming her fear of water by learning to swim, the project faces her directly. The project was photographed in Seoul and Okinawa, and published in three formats: Limited Hardcover, Photobook, and Tabloid Edition.
약 10년의 활동 이래, ‘아이린’이 아닌 배주현을 담은 첫 사진집 프로젝트.
아이린은 수많은 콘셉트 속 작품과 무대를 통해 보여져 왔다. 〈1 Page of IRENE〉은 그동안 보여지지 않은 그녀 본연의 첫 장이라는 의미를 갖도록 기획했다. ‘첫페이지’ 라는 공통소재 아래 독립된 4가지 이야기로 — 편한 옷을 입은 모습, 낯선 여행 속에서 마주하는 호기심어린 순간들, 그리고 물에 대한 두려움을 극복하고 수영을 배우게 된 경험까지 — 비로소 그녀의 '정면'을 마주한다. 촬영은 서울과 오키나와에서 이뤄졌고, limited hardcover / photobook / tabloid 3가지 포맷의 사진집이 제작되었다.
